West Seneca Rush!

Tuesday, April 5 at 7 PM- West Seneca West

Can’t wait for this concert! The kids will sound GREAT and will be performing en masse the WORLD PREMIERE of their commissioned work by Ward Miller – “West Seneca Rush!” It’s going to be an amazing evening celebrating these amazing young musicians and music in our schools!

We are very excited to announce that our guest composer and conductor for the Band Festival concert this year will be Dr. Ward Miller. Dr. Miller is a well-known guest conductor and clinician/music education consultant. His marching band arrangements have been performed by high schools and colleges across the country. Currently Dr. Miller serves as the arranger and associate director of the Macy’s Great American Marching Band in New York City and is the Brass Caption Head for the Blue Stars Drum and Bugle Corps.

We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Miller has composed a combined piece for the West Middle and West Senior Bands entitled “West Seneca Rush!” that will be premiered BY ALL STUDENTS for the finale of our concert on April 5th.

This is the FIRST commissioned work written for a West Seneca Band! WE ARE MAKING HISTORY!!
